Maria Savchenko is a Lisbon-based visual artist working across painting, collage, sculpture, and installation. Her practice explores themes of transformation, resilience, and memory through layered materials and visual metaphors. Moving between abstraction and expressive representation, she creates works that reflect personal histories of displacement and reconstruction. With a background in linguistics and a transmedial approach to painting, her work engages with presence and absence, materiality, and the shifting boundaries between image, space, and meaning.

Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London, UK.
