This project is a result of my four-month residency at the Museum of Urban Art, Taguspark in 2025. I explored the folding screen (biombo) as a dynamic, narrative form, reimagining it not as a decorative divider, but as a structure for expressing contemporary experiences of change, resilience,
and renewal.
These studies informed a series of works using painting, textile, and installation that I conceived as poetic reflections on transformation. Through it, I worked with themes of presence and absence, the visible and the hidden, the held and the lost.
At its heart, this project affirms the power of reconfiguration. Even what is fractured can be reassembled into something newly whole.
